The Prize Bridge Awards honor significant and innovative steel bridges constructed within the U.S. Awards are presented in a variety of categories, including: Major Span; Long Span; Medium Span; Short Span; Movable Span; Reconstructed and Special Purpose.
Projects are judged on:

- design & engineering solutions
We want to thank all submitters who contributed their time and effort on the 2005 Prize Bridge Entries. Designers of the winning 2005 Prize Bridge entries will be presented distinctive plaques during a dinner banquet at the 2005 World Steel Bridge Symposium in Orlando, Florida, December 1, 2005. Owners of the winning Prize Bridge entries will be presented plaques and honored at a dinner banquet during the 2006 AASHTO Bridge Subcommittee meeting. All winning projects and participants will be announced in the November issue of Modern Steel Construction Magazine.
Our next competition will be in 2007. An Entry Form for this competition will be available late in 2006.
