Michigan Model Emergency Action Plan
Regulations require emergency action plans. The requirements for these plans vary. Some businesses and locations demand more extensive plans that others. The Michigan State Police have drafted and offer for review a plan that is quite expensive. While AISC is not recommending any or all of the components of the Michigan State Police plan, we believe it is a useful example in that it shows many elements that are well written. Please do not simply adopt this plan but use it when you review your plan to see if it contains the components needed for your facility.
