What are the Requirements and Qualifications?

You need to live and work in your target city building relationships and meeting with key decision-makers about the benefits of fabricated structural steel for their buildings. You'll spend at least 10 days a month meeting with architects, structural engineers, owners/developers, and contractors.

You need technical knowledge (a degree in civil/structural engineering/architecture is preferred) or steel industry sales experience, a love of steel plus a minimum of five years of experience in building design, construction, or fabrication. Fantastic communication skills are key to your success. You'll need to be comfortable with both public speaking and writing.
