Engineering Journal (ISSN 0013-8029) is AISC's quarterly technical journal. It is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to the improvement and advancement of structural steel construction. EJ is open to all who wish to report on new developments in structural steel design, research, and fabrication. EJ does not accept advertising of any kind.

Engineering Journal has been the premier U.S. technical journal for structural steel construction since its beginnings in 1964. Engineering Journal celebrated its 50th year of publication in 2013. In the second quarter issue, the message from the editor included a short note from AISC alum, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and EJ inventor Bob Disque on the history of the Journal.
