medal_gold_3 Conference Student Steel Bridge Competitions

Conference competitions are held in conjunction with the eighteen ASCE conferences. Winners and first runners-up from most conferences are invited to compete at the national level. However, invitations are extended only to the winner from a conference with two, three or four participating universities, and to the top three teams from a conference with eleven or more participating universities. A university may enter more than one bridge in conference competition but only the best one may qualify for national competition. Each university entering a steel bridge in any conference competition receives $175 from AISC. The host university receives $500 from AISC to assist with expenses incurred in organizing the Conference Student Steel Bridge Competition. In addition, AISC provides plaques for all the competitions.

For the listing of Conference Student Steel Bridge Competitions please check the ASCE website.
