Erin Conaway, PE, LEED AP, is the Intermountain West Regional Engineer for the American Institute of Steel Construction. She represents the Institute in the states of Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and portions of Colorado and Wyoming. Erin works as a liaison between project decision makers and members of the steel production and fabrication community. She also provides educational resources to the design community on technical and economic aspects of building with structural steel.

Prior to becoming a Regional Engineer in July 2009, Erin worked for structural engineering consulting firms in various regions of the country including New York City, Colorado and most recently, Arizona. Her past experience encompasses a background involving all design phases and a variety of project types including commercial, renovation/restoration and high-rise residential.

Erin is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University Architectural Engineering (Structures) program in Stillwater, OK. She currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband.
