Prior to becoming an AISC Mid-Atlantic Regional Engineer, Jacinda was an Advisor with the AISC Steel Solutions Center . In addition to providing conceptual solutions and technical assistance for the A/E/C community, Jacinda served as the secretary for the AISC Nuclear Facilities Task Committees and was a member of the AISC Engineering Journal Review Board, she has written articles for Modern Steel Construction Magazine & Structure Magazine, and she served on the Structural Engineers of Illinois Young Engineers Committee and Chicago Canstruction® Board.

Jacinda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, Jacinda became a member of the Texas Structural Forensics Division for HDR Engineering, Inc.

Jacinda is based in Washington, DC as part of the AISC initiative to help the structural steel industry better serve U.S Federal and Military projects.
