Kristy represents Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, Northern Nevada, Montana and Western Wyoming. Before joining AISC she worked as a staff structural engineer for A/E firms in Indianapolis and Chicago. Kristy has experience with all phases of design, from design development through construction administration.
While living in Chicago she was very involved with the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI): she served as the Young Engineers Committee Chair for two years and sat on the board of directors for one year, before relocating to San Francisco. Kristy also was a member of the CANstruction Chicago Executive Committee. She is now an associate member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California and a professional member of Commercial Real Estate Women San Francisco (CREW SF). She is a member of the CREW SF Community Affairs Team Committee.
Kristy attended Ball State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental design and then attended Purdue University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering.
