1.X STEEL TEAM QUALIFICATIONS
(also commonly referred to as “QUALITY ASSURANCE”)
A. Erector Qualifications: A qualified installer who participates in the AISC Certification program and is designated an AISC Certified Erector, Category [ACSE] [CSE] at time of bid.
<Specify Certified Steel Erectors [CSE] for most projects including: low-rise beam and column structures, light truss structures, simple non-continuous bridges, and steel frame buildings up to 10 stories in height. Advanced Certified Steel Erector [ACSE] is specified where the project requires retrofits, maintenance, and rivet removal; working over water, highway, or railroad; or large scale erection projects using jacking or falsework.>
B. Fabricator Qualifications: A qualified fabricator who participates in the AISC Certification program and is designated an AISC Certified Plant, Category [STD] at time of bid.
C. Comply with applicable provisions of AISC's "Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges." <[Year] or [current edition]>
