Challenging Bridge Projects in Steel [B11]

This presentation will highlight the design and construction challenges on two different bridge projects.  The first presentation focuses on the 11^th Street Bridge in Washington D.C. and the challenges associated with revising the construction sequence to advance the opening of the interchange ramp. The second presentation discusses the challenges associated with the design, coordination, and construction of the new I-55/US-41 interchange in downtown Chicago, IL.
