First Public Review of Seismic Provisions Supplement

Supplement No. 1 to the 2005 AISC Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings (ANSI/AISC 341-05) is now available for public review. This is a limited supplement that affects only the design provisions for ordinary concentrically braced frames.

The draft supplement is available for your review by downloading the attached document. A pre-print beta version of Part I of the 2005 AISC Seismic Provisions for Structural Steel Buildings is also available for your information and reference. Please vote and submit comments on the Supplement using the attached ballot form. A hard copy of the supplement can also be requested by calling 312-670-5411 or by e-mail [email protected].
