NSBA Seeks Proposals for Revising Bridge Handbook
February 27, 2004 From American Institute of Steel Construction, Inc.
First produced by U.S. Steel Corporation in the mid 1960s, the Highway Structures Design Handbook has been a staple of the bridge design community since that time. The Handbook is now managed by the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA), which is requesting interested parties to respond to a "Request for Proposal" to upgrade and update this document into a new Steel Bridge Design Handbook. Proposals should be received not later than March 19, 2004.
