AISC accepting applications for 2010-2011 Scholarships and Fellowships

(Chicago) – University juniors, seniors, and graduate students in civil and architectural engineering are invited to apply for AISC Scholarships/Fellowships for the 2010-2011 academic year. Even as economic cutbacks continue, AISC and members of the structural steel construction community have nearly doubled this year’s scholarship/fellowship program to offer more than $75,000 of aid to university students.

Scholarships/Fellowships include:

  • AISC Education Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships
    Award: 9 x $5,000

    Award: 1 x $5,000
  • AISC/Rocky Mountain Steel Construction Association
    Award: 1 x $3,000
  • AISC/Structural Steel Educational Council
    Award: 2 x $2,500
