Ready, Set, Go: It’s time for the 2024 Student Steel Bridge Competition!

We're dropping the rules for the 2024 Student Steel Bridge Competition (SSBC) on September 5.

To help you get started on the right foot, we’re hosting a live webinar to kick off the competition season. The SSBC Rules Committee Chair Jason McCormick, PE, PhD and the National Head Judge Javier Moncada, PE will fill you in on this year’s major changes to the Rules and give you a general overview of what to expect this year.

AISC will also share new and updated resources for your team, including how to connect with structural engineering mentors in your area and an opportunity to get your team in front of potential sponsors. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a brand new participant, there’s bound to be something for you to learn! (Don’t worry if you can’t make the live event; we’ll post the recording soon!)
