Senior Project Engineer

Alberto Marquez is a Senior Project Engineer at Hatfield Group in New York City.  He earned a master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His work experience includes working on the steel erection of Chicago towers such as 363 N. Clark, 155 N. Wacker and 300 E. Randolph.  Other projects include complex, long-span structures like the new Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.  He serves as the co-chair of SEAoNY SEER (Structural Engineering Emergency Response) Committee and as a high school student mentor for the ACE mentorship program. In his free time, Alberto enjoys learning about building science, structural fire engineering, riding his road bike, practicing photography, and gardening.
