Carly Hurd, CAE, is AISC’s former director of membership. She is responsible for developing and managing AISC member recruitment and retention efforts, all administrative functions of AISC’s membership department as well as the development and production of products and services for AISC members. She also acts as a liaison between AISC and regional fabricator associations. She joined AISC in 2006 as a membership services assistant, rising her way up to membership services manager for two years before becoming director of membership, a position she's held for almost nine years.

Hurd is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) as well as the Association Forum of Chicagoland, where she has served as vice chair and chair of its Young Professional Committee. She earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Western Michigan University.
