Senior Bridge Engineer -- Steel Specialist

Dr. Wang is the Senior Bridge Engineer – Steel Specialist for the FHWA HQ Office of Bridges and Structures, responsible for steel bridge-related technical issues and programs.  During the period of his PhD program at Lehigh University, he worked 6 years as a research assistant in Fritz Lab and ATLSS Center under Professors John Fisher and Ben Yen.  After that, he had 26 years of experience as a consulting engineer and fellow at HNTB and Jacobs.  He joined FHWA in 2016.
