Structures often include minor and major cantilever beam to W shaped or HSS column moment connections. This session will look at various conditions from the perspective of design, detailing, fabrication and erection. Responsibility for the design of such moment connections will be discussed as it pertains to the current Code of Standard Practice. Case studies will be used to illustrate various design options.
