Fatigue and Fracture Control in Steel Structures

This session provides an overview of fracture and fatigue control in steel structures, including case studies illustrating the effect of these factors. The presentation focuses on the use of fracture mechanics as an engineering approach to fracture control. It discusses the influence of the temperature shift, out-of-plane and in-plane constraints, as well as the influence of design and fabrication on fracture and fatigue control.

This course is based on a past NASCC session.

You must purchase and pass a quiz to receive a PDH certificate for this course.
