How to Design a Cable or Cable-Net Wall Structure [N24A]

The use of cables in buildings and other structures is becoming increasingly more common in buildings and other structures. The notion of designing a cable structure can be daunting to design professionals unfamiliar with cable design. This session is sure to relieve stress for the design engineer. The fundamental aspects of designing buildings and cladding with cables will be presented to increase understanding of the relevant challenges. Some of the challenges that will be discussed are cable behavior, design standards, analysis, specifications, and erection considerations.
