New Developments in Connection Design [C4]

Based on the latest research, new design methods have been developed for connections at beam copes, and have been incorporated in the AISC Steel Construction Manual, 15th Edition. This session will discuss these design procedures for single- and double-coped beams, and provide background information on the supporting research.

This course is based on a past NASCC session.
