Performance and Behavior of Gusset Plate Connections

Gusset plates have been the subject of major research and engineering studies for the last several years, especially because of the interest in the profession for using braced frames for seismic as well as non-seismic construction. The speakers offer recent research findings on the strength and performance of gusseted connections, as well as practical design approaches for gusset plates for various applications.

This course is based on a past NASCC session.
