Practical Implementation of Composite Floor Designs [N56]

This session takes composite floor design out of the classroom and into the field by examining common design and detailing issues such as the effects of conduit, penetrations and openings on composite floor designs. Options for reinforcing composite beams in-place will also be presented. In addition, best practices for more constructible composite designs, from deck attachment to contraction joints, will be explored.
