Structural Steel Becoming Architecture: Case Studies of Aesthetics, Formm and Efficiency [N5]

Architects are exploring forms and aesthetics that were impossible to realize as little as fifteen years ago. Today almost anything appears possible. This presentation will explore how many "impossible dreams" were conceptualized, designed, and built. Each of the ten projects discussed used structural steel's high strength-to-weight ratio and its desirability for structural expression in a unique way.
