The first part of the session will explore options available to the structural design engineer when designing new construction within or adjacent to, an existing structure. Part two will explore the basics of what a fabricator can provide in field measuring existing conditions, and how to do it. Best practices and overcoming obstacles with available equipment will be discussed.
