The New 2013 AISC Standard for Structural Steel Erector [N71]

Continuing its transition toward standards-based certification programs, AISC released the Standard for Structural Steel Erectors in 2013. Written in a format similar to other AISC quality management system standards, the erector standard covers topics such as quality manuals, document control, equipment calibration, and training. Why is AISC transitioning from checklist criteria to standards-based criteria? What does this new AISC document mean for owners and erectors? This session will answer these questions and many more!
