Tips for Negotiating a Fair Contract with Your Customer [N59]

Geared toward the fabricator, this essential session will discuss how to position your company to negotiate out-- or at least change--some of the nasty clauses in a contract, and if all else fails, survive the bad language you have to accept. With a panel of experienced lawyers and fabricators who understand both construction and courtrooms, the program will focus on practical ways to use (and avoid) certain language in building a case, what evidence wins and loses cases, and how to work around contract language that seems, on its face, to limit your rights. Negotiating strategies and tips from the experts will provide all attendees with something he can take back to the office and use immediately.
