Transfer Forces--What Are They and Why Should I Care? [E29a]

Dealing with transfer forces is a grey area between member design and connection design. Connection designers are aware of issues dealing with transfer forces, but some EOR's are not. This presentation will review some unusual connections and clarify the boundary between the responsibilities of the EOR and the connection designer in order to minimize problems, disputes and change orders during construction.
