What Does it Meant to Be a BIM Coordinator? [T7]

This session will look at the role and requirements of a 3D/4D BIM coordinator and discuss the different objectives from the perspectives of a detailer and general contractor. The purposes and goals of a BIM contract will be reviewed both in terms of the theory and the reality, and the expectations of each stake holder will be discussed. The session will also look at the differences and similarities between the different platforms that each party is using and will consider the benefits of finding discrepancies earlier in the process as a result of having BIM as part of the contract.
