AISC PAC

Your investment in the structural steel industry is too important to let other people make the rules that govern it. But every day, federal legislators are hearing from industries and special interests whose goals are not consistent with ours. Whether the issue involves Buy America procurement, trade rules, infrastructure funding, safety and environment, or even federal building standards, the structural steel industry needs strong and persuasive advocates. So in response to requests from many of our members who want to leverage their individual investments in ways that can give meaningful and long-term support to our industry, AISC has established a Political Action Committee - AISC PAC - to support candidates for federal offices who share our appreciation for the vital role of structural steel in our national economy.

You may personally contribute up to $5,000 per year to AISC PAC. In addition, if your company has a PAC, it can contribute as well. Note that corporate contributions to a PAC are not allowed by federal law.

Individual PAC Contribution

If you'd like to pay by check, please send this form and a personal check made out specifically to AISC PAC to:

AISC PAC
c/o Janet Cummins
130 East Randolph - Suite 2000
Chicago, IL 60601

Checks that are not made out specifically to AISC PAC will be returned.

In order to increase our effectiveness, we also urge you to get the message out to key employees of your firm. The future of many of your employees is dependent on the strength of the steel fabrication industry and your key senior employees may be interested in contributing as well.

Please let our PAC staff know if you have any questions, by contacting Janet Cummins at 773.636.8520 or cummins@aisc.org.

On behalf of the AISC PAC, we thank you for your consideration of this important request, and for your continued support of AISC and the fabricated structural steel industry.

Sincerely, AISC PAC Board Members
