Welcome Reception

Join us for an evening fun and networking in the backYARD. Just look for the Airstream Overlander parked behind the Sheraton Austin at the Capitol, and you’ve found your way to the backYARD, Austin’s best outdoor venue for barbecue, games, music, and most of all, fun! Serving American fare with big Texas flavor, Chef Lonny Huot is dishing up classics with his signature handmade rubs and fresh-from-the-garden flavors, while Future Leaders are invited to kick back and sample a local or craft brew, sip a Texas-inspired cocktail or play one of the signature YARD games.

Legislative Panel

There is a lot of information out there discussing the future of U.S. infrastructure, tariffs, state regulatory challenges, and how the steel design and construction industry is poised to address these issues. It can be difficult to parse through what is fact and what is fiction. Brian Raff, AISC's director of government relations, will shed some light on the facts regarding the Administration's latest list of infrastructure principles as well as discuss the impact of tariffs and state laws that we could see in the future.

Fabricator Roundtable Discussion
