Steel Shots: SteelDay Sneak peek

Earlier this week, AISC hosted a “pre” SteelDay presentation and tour of the McDonough District Hospital expansion project in Macomb, Ill., one of the first projects in the Midwest to be built using the Peikko Deltabeam system. Guests discovered how using the system for the three-story extension enabled the hospital to match its current floor-to-floor heights to the existing building while allowing a maximum floor-to-ceiling height. The event offered a sneak peek at the dozens of events scheduled to take place around the country on SteelDay. Photo: AISC
