AISC member Lindapter has developed the Type AAF Girder Clamp, a new High Slip Resistance (HSR) clamp for connecting steel sections.
Type AAF is the latest addition to Lindapter’s HSR family of clamps designed for high load requirements including frictional, tensile and combined load applications. The clamp features a two-part design and self-adjusts to suit a range of flange thicknesses, allowing contractors to use a single product type for multiple connection requirements. Typical applications include connecting steel framed roofs, pipe supports and mechanical handling equipment, while specialist applications include the renovation of bridges and offshore platforms.
The product is supplied with a hot-dip galvanized coating to protect against corrosion, even in low temperature environments.
