UC Davis Offers Online Engineering Courses

The University of California, Davis, offers an extension program of online engineering courses for working professionals. The courses are UC Davis-approved and taught by UC faculty and expert practitioners.

Available opportunities this spring include a course on CAD for 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping. Participants will learn to use Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD software (developed by Autodesk, an AISC Member) to create, edit and validate parts and assemblies, as well as how to prepare those parts and assemblies for 3D printing. You’ll explore cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing, rapid machining via laser cutting and CNC machining, as well as how Autodesk Inventor plays a critical role in the use of these technologies.

The course begins April 16 and ends June 14. Enrollments will be accepted until April 20.

Early enrollment and group discounts are available. For more information or to enroll, call 800.752.0881, email extension@ucdavis.edu or visit www.extension.ucdavis.edu/engineering.
