To mark the recent opening of the observation tower at One World Trade Center in New York City, a time-lapse video showing construction of the 1,776-ft-tall steel-framed tower has been released by EarthCam. The two-minute video shows the 11-year building progress at the site from initial groundwork through installation of the 400-ft-tall spire that tops out the skyscraper.
Produced and directed by Brian Cury, EarthCam's CEO & Founder, "It's our mission to continue to document this for future generations, so people can see what it took to rebuild these important 16 acres."
