Before NASCC last week, AISC’s Market Development staff toured the construction site of Nashville’s new West Riverfront Park Amphitheater, the focal point of an 11-acre development. The amphitheater and related facilities total 49,000 sq. ft, and the amphitheater itself is 36,000 sq. ft on two floors and includes a stage that is 55 ft deep, 100 ft wide and 46 ft tall. The project uses more than 400 tons of steel, fabricated by Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. (an AISC Member and AISC Certified fabricator).
