The Steel Tube Institute (STI) is hosting a webinar, “HSS-to-HSS and HSS Bracing Connections,” next Thursday, November 5, from 11 a.m. to noon (CT). The webinar will cover connections, classifications and designs for hollow structural sections (HSS).
Topics will include:
- Classification of HSS truss joints
- What limit states apply to which joints
- Tips to make connection design more economical
- Types of brace connections and their advantages and disadvantages
Following the webinar there will be a 15-minute interactive question and answer period. The cost of the webinar is $95 and each registrant will receive a certificate worth 1 PDH accredited through AIA, as well as a PDF of the presentation slides and recording.
