The Steel Tube Institute (STI) is hosting a webinar titled “What Your Fabricator Wishes You Knew About HSS,” next Thursday, October 8, from 11 a.m. to noon (CT). The Institute has assembled fabricators from across the U.S. to speak about the ins and outs of fabricating with hollow structural sections (HSS).

The webinar will cover:

  • Which details work, and which don’t
  • What you need to know about Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel (AESS)
  • Tolerances and how to detail for them
  • Relative costs of fabrication of HSS

The cost of the webinar is $95 and each registrant will receive a certificate worth 1 PDH accredited through AIA, as well as a recording of the webinar and a PDF of the presentation slides.

Registration for the webinar, as well information on other upcoming STI webinars, is available here.
