AGA Seeks Judges for Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Awards

The Point Cadet Pavilion in Biloxi, Miss., one of last year’s Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing award winners. (See all past winners here.)

The American Galvanizers Association (AGA) is looking for qualified architects, engineers and other specifiers to judge its 2016 Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Awards.

Judges must meet the following criteria:

  • Current or retired architect, civil or structural engineer or other specifier, or a professor or student within one of these disciplines or a related field
  • Willingness to score all projects fairly and completely
  • Prior experience or interest in hot-dip galvanizing is encouraged (but not required)

The entries have been narrowed down to the top three to four per category; there are approximately 40 projects to evaluate. Judging does not have to be done in one sitting and your progress will be saved as you work your way through the categories.

If you’re interested in becoming a judge, please contact AGA’s Hannah Anderson at handerson@galvanizeit.org. Judging closes Monday, February 15.
