The National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA) invites everyone involved in steel bridge research, design or construction to submit an abstract for consideration to present at the 2019 World Steel Bridge Symposium (WSBS), which will be held in conjunction with NASCC: The Steel Conference, April 3-5 in St. Louis.

The WSBS brings together bridge design engineers, construction professionals, academicians, transportation officials, fabricators, erectors and constructors to discuss and learn state-of-the-art practices for enhancing steel bridge design, fabrication and construction techniques.

To submit an abstract, complete the 2019 WSBS abstract submission form by June 1, 2018 at 5 p.m. ET. Abstracts should be limited to 500 words or less. Authors will be notified of acceptance in late summer. If your abstract is selected, you’ll be expected to submit a final paper/conference proceeding. View examples of 2018 conference proceedings here.

Please send a separate copy of any abstracts containing charts, images, or text formatting essential for the review process via email to abstracts@steelbridges.org in a pdf file (you must still complete the online submission form). Any incomplete or late submissions will not be reviewed. For questions regarding the abstract submission process, please contact abstracts@steelbridges.org.
