The holiday season is here! As your calendar begins to fill up, be sure to make time for AISC’s December 6 webinar, Column Design: Past, Present, Future. This webinar, presented by Joseph A. Yura, emeritus professor in civil engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, explores the historical development of different approaches for designing columns, including the mathematical, experimental, industrial, professional and political factors that contributed to our current status, and what changes the future may hold.

The webinar will be held from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. ET. Registrants are eligible to receive 1.5 PDHs upon completion of the webinar. For more information and to register, go to www.aisc.org/webinars.
