A new report on developments in the analysis of steel bridge system redundant members is now available for free download. The Transportation Research Board's (TRB) National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Research Report 883, entitled, Fracture-Critical System Analysis for Steel Bridges, presents research supporting the recently adopted AASHTO Guide Specifications for Analysis and Identification of Fracture Critical Members and System Redundant Members. Report 883 describes the analysis methodology in detail and provides examples for implementation.
