The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) recently named the winners of its Project of the Year competition. SEAA presents the awards to one job in each of the four steel contract value classes. An independent panel of judges chose winners that showcased expertise in difficult projects while maintaining safe worksites.
Among the winners are AISC associate members, Flawless Steel Welding and Derr & Gruenewald Construction.
Flawless Steel Welding was recognized for Corbin Park Parking Garage (Class I) in Overland Park, Kan. Derr & Gruenewald received the award for their work on the Prism Building (Class II) in Denver and Salt Lake City International Airport Terminal Redevelopment Program (Class IV).
