The Steel Joist Institute is hosting a webinar on July 17th: "Retrofitting of Existing Buildings With Steel Joists." The webinar will cover examples of joists needing to be retrofitted, methods to evaluate existing open-web steel joists and joist girders for revised loading conditions, and how to modify existing open-web joists. The webinar will parallel the SJI's Technical Digest No. 12: Evaluation and Modification of Open Web Steel Joists and Joist Girders.
