The AASHTO/NSBA Steel Bridge Collaboration just released a resource with everything you need to design, detail, and fabricate steel bent caps!

Steel bent caps create long spans for bridges that cross roadways, railroads, or other features with nearly parallel alignment to the bridge. The new guide, G12.2 - Guidelines for Steel Bent Caps, is the result of collaborative efforts among industry experts, state DOTs, engineers, fabricators, and researchers.
