University of Cincinnati Indoor Practice Facility

When the University of Cincinnati’s new indoor practice facility opens later this year, weather won’t be an issue for the Bearcats football team.

Built on top of an existing field like a steel canopy, the $160 million steel structure occupies every square inch of available ground on its tight campus site. To accommodate the expansive column-free interior, the roof backbone features 13 200-ft trusses weighing 50 tons each.
