In Tulsa, Okla., a former shopping mall is spinning, jumping, and gliding into its best *second* life as an ice skating center!
Rather than demolishing the empty shopping mall--and incurring the associated waste and costs--the Tulsa WeStreet Ice Center project added six new steel trusses and removed dozens of columns to transform the mall’s former anchor department store space into a versatile sports and entertainment facility centered around twin ice rinks.
