The week of April 9  the AISC Meetings and Membership team will be on-site at The Steel Conference. This may cause a delay in response.  To assist you with your issue, we have answered the most commonly asked questions during the conference! See on-site FAQs below. I NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE TO MY REGISTRATION

Please visit us at the registration desk on level 300 of the Baltimore Convention Center or contact MCI USA:

I'm not receiving the member price, can you assist?

If you have trouble receiving the member price we are happy to help you! Please email membership@aisc.org and they will solve the issue. Within your email please include the name, email, and company of each person you are trying to register.

Please note on April 9-13, our membership and meetings team will be on-site in Baltimore so there may be a delay in response. If you can’t solve the issue or get your membership updated before you need to arrive at the conference, head over to the membership desk in the Welcome Lounge. The Welcome Lounge is located on level 300 of the Baltimore Convention Center. 

I am the third or more registrant with my firm, and the 3rd or more discounted price is not coming up, why?

In order for the 3rd or more registrants to receive the discounted 3rd or more price, the company name must exactly match the company name of the first and second registrants in our membership database. If your company name is different than the 1st/2nd registrant, the registration system will think it is a new firm and charge the full price.

(For example- if registrant #1 & #2’s company name is listed as AISC, and registrant #3’s is listed as American Institute of Steel Construction, the system will think it is a new firm and charge the full price for registrant #3) 

If you need to update your company name, contact AISC Membership at membership@aisc.org.

HOW DO I RECIEVE PDH CREDIT FOR NASCC LIVE/ IN PERSON SESSIONS?

During each NASCC session the speaker will announce a PDH Code, be sure to write each code down! Then follow these instructions:

  1. Once you watch the session go to the PDH portal at www.aisc.org/nasccpdh

  2. Login to the PDH portal with the last name and email address used to register or your Record ID

  3. Enter each PDH Code for the sessions watched

  4. Print or email yourself a PDH summary

You will only be able to obtain PDH credit for one session each time slot. If you’re having trouble with PDH Credit please email nascc@aisc.org

 

I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE CONFERENCE IN PERSON, CAN I TRADE MY REGISTRATION FOR AN NASCC LIVE REGISTRATION?

Yes! Please contact nascc@wyndhamjade.com to get your registration changed. If you cannot get your registration changed before the start of the live stream, please follow the instructions below: 

  1. View the sessions and write down the PDH codes for the sessions watched (To view sessions, visit www.aisc.org/nascclive . You'll see a "Watch Sessions" button, which will take you to the session portal.)
  2. Email nascc@aisc.org with your PDH codes and state your issue switching registrations
  3. We will fix the issue, contact you after the conference to register you and give you instructions to claim your PDH credit.

I DIDN’T WRITE DOWN THE PDH CODE FOR THE SESSION I WATCHED. HOW DO I GET IT?

If you forgot a PDH code for the session you viewed, you can either stop by the registration desk at the Baltimore Convention Center. Or you can email nascc@aisc.org requesting the PDH code. Please state the session, date, time, and speaker for each session you are requesting the code for.

Housing/ Hotels

I need to change my hotel reservation

We have sent the final lists over to the hotels on 3/28/2018 and all
modifications or cancellations must be done with the hotel directly.
Please allow the hotel 2-3 days to update their system before
contacting them.

When calling the hotel, please ask to speak with the “Group Housing Coordinator” or “Convention Housing Manager,” as the reservations desk may be restricted from making your desired changes.

Please note, because we have remitted control of the block back to the
hotel, the discounted room rates have expired; any new reservations or
additional nights may be subject to availability and pricing at the
hotel’s discretion.

I need to cancel my reservation

If you are cancelling your room and have been charged a deposit and
canceled your reservation by the individual hotel cancellation policy,
email nascc@wyndhamjade.com after you have cancelled with the hotel and
provide the name on the room, the date you canceled, as well as the
hotel cancellation number, so we can process a request for a refund
(if applicable).

NASCC LIVE - Registration

What is the cost for NASCC Live?

The NASCC Live registration price for AISC members is $225 ($350 for non-members) for the first person from your firm. Each additional registrant is just $10 ($20 non-members) All 26 NASCC Live Sessions are included in your NASCC Live Registration. However, you will only be able to obtain PDH credit for one session each time slot.  Register Now! 

 

Does the NASCC Live Registration cover all NASCC Live sessions?

Yes! With NASCC Live registration, all 26 NASCC Live Sessions are included. The full schedule is available at www.aisc.org/nascclive.

I'm having issues registering, can you assist?

If you have trouble registering please email nascc@aisc.org. Or, if this is a membership issue email membership@aisc.org and they will assist you. In your email, please include the name, email, and company of those you are trying to register and the issue.

I would like to do a group viewing of NASCC Live sessions, is this allowed?

You are more than welcome to watch the NASCC Live sessions with a group. However, in order for your personnel to receive PDH credit, they must be registered individually.  If your group is just interested in watching and not receiving PDH credit- only one person needs to register.

nascc live - VIEWING THE STREAM & PdhS

I missed a NASCC Live streaming session, how can I view it?

NASCC sessions, including NASCC Live sessions, will be available approximately 45 days after the conference. Approximately 45 days after the conference, we post slideshows (complete with audio presentations) of most of the sessions to our education archives at  www.aisc.org/educationarchives. Proceedings for the SSRC Conference will be also be available in the archives.

PDH credit can only be claimed for sessions watched during the live stream. You will not receive PDH credit for viewing the sessions in the archives.

If I didn't get to watch the whole webcast, are there any challenges to claiming PDH credits? If so, what?

When you claiming a PDH code from a session you are stating that you watched the session in its entirety and therefore earned the professional development hours. PDH codes that are announced and the beginning and end of the session should only be used of you watched the entire session. While we cannot regulate if you watched the session in its entirety when you claim the credit, we hope you will honor the system. There are no barriers as long as you are registered and have the PDH code.

How do I receive PDH Credit for NASCC Live sessions?

During each NASCC Live session the speaker will announce a PDH Code, be sure to write each code down! Then:

1. Once you watch the session go to the PDH portal at www.aisc.org/nasccpdh

2. Login to the PDH portal with the last name and email address used to register for NASCC Live (or your badge number)

3. Enter each PDH Code for the sessions watched

4. Print or email yourself a PDH summary
