2019 NASCC: The Steel Conference in St. Louis

Thank you for agreeing to speak and/or moderate a session at the 2019 NASCC: The Steel Conference. The event takes place April 3-5 in St. Louis and registration is now open! Here's the latest information you need to know as a speaker/moderator at NASCC: The Steel Conference. Check out our speaker guidelines packet or our moderator guidelines for more information.

Complimentary Speaker registration includes:

  • Entrance to all functions held in the Exhibit Hall
    • Includes: Wednesday Welcome Reception; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Coffee Breaks; Thursday Boxed Lunch
  • Entrance to all sessions except for the Short Courses
    • Short Courses, Guest Registration, and spouse/guest tours can all be purchased separately online
  • (1) Thursday Conference Dinner Ticket

NOTE: If you are a speaker and also exhibiting please only register once as a speaker. When you arrive at the conference, pickup your conference materials at the badge print station, then head to the exhibitor registration desk to pick up an exhibitor ribbon. This ribbon will give you access to the hall before/ after hours.

Session Room AV

The standard AV set in a session room is (1) Riser (1) Podium (1) Lectern Mic (1) Screen/ projector (1) Computer with Microsoft Office. Most rooms do not have an audio connection to the computer, so please avoid placing audio in your presentations. Please note that this is the average set for session rooms, and some rooms have more/less AV.  If you have questions, additional AV needs, or audio requests, please email

Speaker/ Moderator Breakfast

The Speaker/ Moderator breakfast will take place on Wednesday, April 3 from 7:00-8:00 a.m. in rooms 100-105 at the Convention Center. We hope to see you there!

Session Changes

PDH Codes

To obtain the PDH credit, participants must register their attendance at each session for which they are requesting credit. A numeric session-specific code will be assigned to each session and only those who participate will have access to the code. As a speaker, you need to announce the PDH code at the beginning and end of your presentation. Additionally, please make sure the session PDH code is on the first and last slide of your presentation. PDH Codes are available on this protected sheet. Please do not share this information to anyone other than those attending your session.

These policies ONLY apply to NASCC: The Steel Conference speakers/moderators including those presenting in the bridge, business, case study, connections, constructability, design & analysis, detailing, erection, project management, quality, roundtable, shop operations, sustainability, and technology tracks.
