NASCC: The Steel Conference
AISC Cancels 2020 NASCC: The Steel Conference Due to Coronavirus Threat
On March 15, 2020, AISC made the challenging decision to cancel this year's NASCC: The Steel Conference in Atlanta. Charles J. Carter, SE, PE, PhD, AISC's president, issued a video message further explaining AISC's decision. We plan to refund all attendees' registration fees and will provide more details on this soon.
"The hotel and hospitality industry is being devastated by all of the shutdowns and event cancellations," explained Elizabeth Purdy, CMP. "We're looking into a way to establish a voluntary program to allow attendees to donate part of their rebated fees and hotel deposits to a workers' relief fund and I encourage everyone to help however they can."
We will continue to provide you with updates on this page and via email as more information is made available. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging and uncertain time.
